1 peter 4:16 - If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
Suffering is never fun…..but I guess it depends on what you’re suffering for. Suffering for Christ builds character and further grounds us in Him. It teaches us to fully rely on Him for all of our wants, needs, and desires. I think suffering for the gospel exposes our true passion for our Savior. It can be a learning and growing experience.
So when suffering comes along, let’s rejoice that we have an opportunity to deepen our relationship with the King!
Easier said than done….but it’s a process…and we’re all in it together!
Your Brother in Christ…

Picking my brain...
Titus 2:12-14…say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
I have found that it is so hard to say ‘no’ to worldly passions and to live a self controlled life. Why? Because it’s a choice I have to make every second of every day! I have also found that it’s also very rewarding to live as close as we possibly can to the way the bible calls us to live. It’s freeing and fulfilling! So….
Let’s get radical! God calls us to be different from the world! What better way to do that than to completely separate ourselves from what the world would encourage us to do. Let’s think about the movies that we watch. Let’s think about the music we listen to. Let’s think about what we talk about. Let’s think about what we think about.
It will be hard and we will fail at times, but we have to press on as we train ourselves in Godliness! The world can be a different place if the body of Christ lived a life that was reflective of what they believe! Let’s not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind! Together, in and through Christ, we can make a difference!
‘til the whole world hears….
